Designed by Herbert Milton Martin and adopted at the 13th Grand Conclave of 1898, the Kappa Sigma Fraternity Pledge Pin uniquely identifies new pledges of the Order. The design was inspired by the ancient god Mercury and his symbol, the caduceus. All new pledges of Kappa Sigma Fraternity are encouraged to wear the Pledge Pin to show their pride and relationship with the Order.
